You've spent months planning your wedding, and now you are looking forward to the big day.  Now that you're almost there, here are some wedding day tips to make your special day wonderful and stress-free. 

    1. Enlist the help of your wedding party

Bridesmaids and groomsmen are involved in your wedding for more than matching attire and great photos.  Each of them plays a significant role in your life and wants to do as much as possible to help on your big day.  It's often useful to make a list of to-dos for the wedding day and to divide them amongst the bridesmaids and groomsmen.  Activities such as greeting vendors, seating grandparents, and picking up lunches can easily be performed by members of the wedding party.  By delegating these tasks, it will leave the bride and groom more time to enjoy their day.

2) Prepare your list of photos ahead of time

 

Wedding photographs will be keepsakes that you and your family treasure.  Of course you will want photos of the bride and groom, but you will also want to include the bridal party, family members, and special friends as well.  In order to ensure that the photographer captures all the moments that are most special to you, it's a good idea to make a list of photos ahead of time.  This list should include where the photo will be taken, who will be in the photo, and any other key details.  If your wedding venue has beautiful scenery, you'll want to be sure to include some landscape shots as well.  Making a list of your photos and sharing it with your photographer will ensure that no special moment is missed.

3) Bring an emergency kit with you 

Hopefully your big day will go off without a hitch.  Just in case, we recommend assembling an emergency kit.  Whether it's a torn bridesmaids dress or a scraped knee, having an emergency kit will ensure that you're ready to handle whatever the big day brings.  Your emergency kit should include products that will help to remove any stains or rips in the wedding or bridesmaids dresses. Items such as stain remover, sewing needles, thread, soap, chalk, baby powder, and safety pins will help for any emergencies involving the bride’s dress, or for anyone invited who experiences damage in their clothing. In case there is a medical emergency (or someone's shoes cause a blister), make sure to bring a separate kit with bandages, eye drops, and aspirin. 

4) Save as much money as you can 

 

There are plenty of ways to save on your big day. Take advantage of coupons and decoration ideas that you can do yourself. For example, centerpieces for tables can be made easily by purchasing glass vases and artificial flowers. Plus, this will allow more personalization for your wedding. It’s also a good idea to think about pre-owned engagement rings. Buying a pre-owned engagement ring means you get the same ring, and same diamond, at a fraction of the cost. 

5) Sit back and enjoy the day 

The most important tip for your wedding day is to enjoy every moment.  Your wedding is a rare time when so many people in your life are together.  Don't get caught up in the details if something is not perfect on the big day.  What matters is that you are getting married, and that you celebrate your love.
